Ronica is a mixed media artist living on the beautiful Eastern Shore of Maryland. She makes work from lost and found things, and recycles paper, plastic, wood, and metal. She is inspired by patterns and colors found in nature. Some of her favorite things to paint are urban landscapes, stars, moons, creeps, orbs, mandalas, mushrooms, and anything aquatic. Her collages and mixed media work have a tactile element to them, that represents the life and death of inanimate objects. She thrives on nostalgia, and keeps detailed records of everything, everyone, every day. She has been writing, drawing, and keeping journals since she was a child. She is also an avid reader, busy pen pal and enjoys good music, good beer, and dancing.
